ALL MANAGERS, here are the changes to the 2010 schedule.
The Tuesday night games at Memorial are changed to Shawnee Park.
The Thursday night games are moved up one night to Wednesday and to Shawnee Park
I’m very sorry for the trouble and hope we can all get through this. With GRC / Jeff Parks hosting the districts and regional for little league we have been asked to move from Memorial for a few weeks. OUR SUNDAY GAMES ARE NOT AFFECTED !!! Only Tuesday and Thursday night games are. It’s not like we haven’t had to change sites and fields before, lately we have been very spoiled and have had a good run at Memorial.. I WILL UP-DATE the INFORMATION LINE DAILY 502-213-7756 Tell all players to check it before they leave to play. Any questions please feel free to contact me, if you want to bitch at me, go ahead, I’ll tune you out like I do my players.

The 2010 schedule is posted. Click here for the schedule.
Dear League Member,
Dennis Chester with the 38+ Senators and I will be working together on a 45+ team to play this November in the Fall Classic. This will be Dennis’ third trip and my 4 th, and 3 rd as a manager. The dates will be Sunday November 14 th thru Saturday November 20 th. The 45+ division will be wood bat for 2010.
The general location is the Port St. Lucie, Jupiter and West Palm area of Florida’s Atlantic coast. We are planning on at least 16 players no more than 18 to make up this team. ALL PLAYERS will be from the Louisville Leagues. You will need a $100 deposit due by July 25 th with a balance of $150 due by August 22 nd. The total tournament fee is $250. In order to have a spot, you must pay you deposit.
You will need to be at least 45 years old to make this trip, last word was there may not be any younger wavered players allowed in this age division. I’m still waiting on word from MSBL National to see if this may change.
As in the past, your travel, food and lodging arraignments are up to you. I will not dictate as to where you must stay. Only stipulation from me is you must check in with me on Sunday the 14 th so I know you are in the area and will be playing ball Monday morning. I’m sure several players would like to share expenses and will look for players to go down with.
As part of this, we will play Fall Ball to use these games as practice. There is not a better way to stay fresh then to keep playing. I want to be clear, I’m not delusional, I want to take a group of guys who want to stretch out the season and play a little November baseball. I have no expectations of going down and winning this tournament. IF we go there and enjoy ourselves and play hard, who knows what might happen.
I will pass along more information as I get it. Many players take family and make this a vacation. I myself think that is a great ideal. Anyway, I look forward to a great 2010 season and hope you may like to make a trip to the sunshine state and play ball with Dennis and me. David Allison
